Reared in Gastonia, NC, Kaylin has always shown a keen interest in embracing different visual medias. She took art lessons for over five years and constantly embraced logics, math, and creativity. Kaylin found herself enthralled by the open-ended opportunities of fashion while working as an assistant on photo shoots.
Drawing inspiration from femme-androgyny of the 60’s mod silhouettes, Kaylin found herself asking "why does androgyny still convey conventional norms of gender identity?" This question led her to take design to everyone and “every body” -- which caused the creation of a line dedicated to people and their everyday lives.
