Growing up as an Army Brat, Emily embraced the constant change in scenery; the world was big and so was her imagination, and no matter where she went, her creativity remained consistent. She has only just begun to find her place in the fashion world, and is determined to thrive wherever she goes next.
Emily's collection is inspired by a book written by Susan Sontag, “Camp: Notes on Fashion.” The term “camp” is a beautifully complicated word, with many meanings and interpretations. Camp is high fashion, and ironic for its bad taste, but somehow it is extravagant and eye catching. Emily has focused her collection on volume and asymmetry, with Camp in mind.
