Coming from Raleigh, NC, Delaney has always had an appreciation for the art of fashion. She views fashion as a way to communicate to the world without having to speak a single word. She wants to stray away from the confinement of societal norms in fashion and provide others the opportunity to be anything and everything they want to be through her designs.
Delaney was inspired by modernistic architecture from around the world. This includes the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Canada, the Felix Nussbaum Haus Museum of Cultural History in Osnabrück, Germany, and the Ebisu East Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. Delaney has used the geometric shapes and lighting of the structures to create her collection.
